Matt is passionate about the law and loves helping people solve their legal problems. He grew up hearing people respectfully refer to one of the local attorneys as “their attorney.” After practicing law in Lexington, Kentucky and leading a Christian non-profit for almost two years, he felt called to return home and open a law firm that is committed to creating that same type of relationship with its clients. Matt approaches every matter with energy, understanding, and the thoroughness it takes to provide the highest-level of legal representation.

In addition to being a lawyer, Matt is deeply dedicated to his family, his faith, and his community. He is a proud “girl dad” of three beautiful daughters and the husband of a wife he readily admits he “out-kicked his coverage” by marrying. Matt is an active member of New Castle First Baptist Church and is committed to living out his Christian faith at home, in the workplace, and in everyday life. Matt was born and raised in Henry County, Kentucky, is proud to call it home, and is dedicated to making it an even better place to live and raise his family.

Matt is an Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom and a member of the Christian Legal Society.

After more than thirty years as an attorney, Clint continues to practice law because he appreciates the privilege of helping and defending those in need as an important aspect of who we are in community together. These principles - his why - motivate Clint as an attorney and a counselor. Clint’s experience in assisting individuals and businesses includes:

  • prosecuting an action against the federal government to ensure a business owner can conduct his business according to the dictates of his conscience;

  • helping facilitate the transition of distressed property to award-winning community reuse, whether as a home for children or as a home for a major college sports program;

  • smaller yet just as important client cases involving personal injury and individual rights, such as the fainting goat case in central Kentucky, or defending the right of students in Eastern Kentucky to participate in the Charlie Brown Christmas program.

Clint also has served as in-house counsel for an architect, design, and construct firm and has learned to appreciate the integration of law and business through hands on practice.
